Introduction
Before becoming a successful Web3 artist, Cem Hasimi built a career as an award-winning art director and designer. Based in the United Kingdom, he has over a decade of professional experience, working with many world famous brands like Coca-Cola, Volkswagen, and Burger King. He's a multifaceted artist that excels with virtually any style or design choice when needed.
The Portfolio
Cem's professional portfolio is both colorful and whimsical, and is seen even in client work or when using minimalist styles. If Cem's work had to be reduced down to a single word I would choose "irresistible".
Like many artists in Web3, Cem doesn't mint every single piece of artwork he's created. It can be easy for collectors to miss the pieces of art that don't make it to the blockchain, and Cem has several gems tucked away on his website, such as this Various Illustrations album.
Web3 Works
A multi-chain artist, Cem has created several collections across SuperRare, Foundation, and Manifold. He has had tremendous success on Ethereum, and I think the pieces minted on Foundation are some of his best. According to CryptoArt.io metrics, he's collectively sold nearly 70 ETH worth of artwork.
Tezos
!!!!! sales stats !!!!! Cem displays a devotion to quality regardless of chain. He's not holding back his best work for one chain over another. Because of this he enjoys similar levels of success that he sees on Ethereum. The work available on Tezos doesn't compromise, while still being reasonably accessible.
TezQuakeAid Drop
We're grateful Cem has been able to help fundraise with the #TezQuakeAid drop. He sold 20 editions with the highest offers accepted, ranging between 202 to 750 tez. In total, Cem was able to generate over 5,100 tez.
The Crack was collected by some of the most well known collectors in Web3. CozomoMedici and DeezeFi both added it to their collections, and Misan Harriman ultimately purchased an edition for the Tezos Permanent Collection, further cementing his legacy as one of the premiere artists in Web3.
