Introduction

No Faith is an artist and musician based out of Italy with more than 20 years of experience. He describes his art as "unconventional and obscure." He primarily works with monochrome color palettes and photography that have been digitally destroyed or abstracted parts of the subject away. He commonly explores themes of melancholy, regret, yearning, and love, creating a vehicle to deliver her dark art.

All My Faith Lost 🎶

untitled (2021) album, NFT edition

No Faith is part of a band aptly named, All My Faith Lost, where they've been releasing music together for decades. The most recent release is "Untitled 2021", with each song being tied to a specific visual piece that resonated with the different members of the band. The band takes you on a dark and ethereal journey, with stories of death, love, and sadness. It feels like the audio equivalent of many of No Faith's art, which expresses similar motifs.

When asked if he was planning on releasing any more of her music in a digital collectible format:

"I really would love too, I’ve been a musician for more than 20 years. But unfortunately almost a year ago, I lost hearing in my right ear. After several painful months, I started again to listen to music. I thought that maybe, if I can listen to music, maybe I could also play it. My only hope is that my condition will not get worse (Unfortunately there are some signals it might). Anyway, I’ll do my best; music is part of my life, it’s really hard to live without it!

Ethereum Artwork

No Faith's first digital collectible to be minted was on the Ethereum blockchain, May 3rd of 2021. It was the album cover for the previously mentioned "Untitled 2021" album. The NFT was rather special for the fact that purchasing it also entitled the holder to a signed copy of the vinyl, as well as the token itself being a special blue edition. It was an early example of someone attempting to combine the physical work with the digital.

He's minted several works on Foundation too, which is in the same vein as the works created on Tezos, demonstrating an attention to quality and care that is clear to see across his whole portfolio.

Tezos Works

No Faith's body of work found on the Tezos blockchain is expansive, containing nearly 150 pieces of photography. His art remains consistent throughout with it's focus on feelings of melancholy and nostalgia in a palette of black and white. It's a hauntingly beautiful experience every time you venture through his collections, making him one of the best representatives of the dark art genre around in Web3.

I Will Hold Your Broken Heart is No Faith's addition to the #TezQuakeAid relief efforts. Where most artists chose to go with lower priced artwork in large edition sizes, No Faith went with a higher priced 1 of 1 piece. He sold it for 300 tez, of which 99% of the proceeds were donated directly to the fundraiser. We are grateful for his contributions to #TezQuakeAid.
