Meet David Feltner, aka The Goober in this week's DNS profile spotlight. David has been creating for 25 years and brings a unique brand of art to the NFT community. David is the creator of the 100 Goobers on Opensea, The Gooberz on objkt.com, the G00nz on crypto.com NFT marketplace.
The Goober's DNS profile stood out to me with the way he uses gifs, his own art, to make his DNS page a showcase. The screenshot doesn't do it justice so be sure to check out his profile.
What was your inspiration for your profile?
I was inspired by the opportunity to create a collection in my vision.
What’s your background? What were you doing before NFTs?
My professional background is in accounting and financial services, but I have been unable to work since last March due to medical issues.
How would you describe your style?
My style is fun and entertaining.
What is your favorite piece of art that you’ve done and why?
My favorite piece of art that I have done would be Rising. Rising is an abstract piece I did to show my battle with depression. It really resonates with me.
What do you do for fun?
Typically I create art for fun.
What is your favorite creators in web3 and why?
DNS! Why? That’s easy…They are responsive and engaging with their users.
What superpower would you have and why?
To be able to fly. I just think it would be great to be able to fly wherever I wanted to go.
What inspires you?
My inspiration comes from my support. My community is amazing. They are a huge reason why I create NFTs.
What's the most fun you've had in the space so far?
Doing collaborations. I love working with other artists to create an amazing piece of art.
Who do you look up to in web3?
I look up to so many people in the space I can’t just choose one. I am so thankful for so many people.
What is one thing you think people don’t get in web3?
What web3 even is.
