Did you know that every DNS profile has a small section for featured links at the top of their page? Did you also know that it's very easy to customize? Read on to find out more.
Featured Links
Our talented friend, oddcr0w, has a few featured links on their page in this example. There are links to Instagram, Twitter, and a website (the website is their Behance profile in case you're wondering). Everybody can add up to 6 custom links to this section.
One thing to note before explaining how to customize your own links, is that sometimes our AI can recognize which links to insert. Some users may have a few featured links set up even if they haven't customized it themselves.
Step 1
Sync your wallet, navigate to your page.
Step 2
Select the edit button in the lower right corner of your profile header section.
Step 3
In addition to making the featured links section (yellow box) editable, it also allows you to:
- add a custom banner for the background image
- edit your avatar
- edit your bio line
To add a link, click on one of the plus (+) buttons in the link section to bring up the featured link modal.
Step 4
Simply select what kind of link you want to insert, make sure you enter the URL correctly, and hit the green Save button in the corner when you're done.
Note: You can use the generic "Link" icon from the dropdown menu and use it for any arbitrary URL. Twitter links don't have to use a Twitter icon, for example.
Final Step
Last, but not least, you just need to make sure you save your changes that you made to your profile. You edit the link, save the link, and then save the changes made to your profile.
