Last Week in Review

Before we kick off another busy week, we'd like to do a brief recap on some of the events from last week. There's still a lot of good things happening with #TezQuakeAid. The Tezos community has been fundraising for a month, let's keep things going strong!

Artist Features

As part of our continuing coverage of #TezQuakeAid, we published two more artist features last week. We were able to shine the spotlight on Paraxeno Daimonio and Stu Sontier. You can find those articles both on our coverage page and linked below.

Artists of #TezQuakeAid: Paraxeno Daimonio
The Artists of #TezQuakeAid features continue with a deep dive and introduction to Paraxeno Daimonio, multidisciplinary artist and activist.
The Artists of #TezQuakeAid: Stu Sontier
In today’s Artists of #TezQuakeAid, we’re featuring @stusontier: an electric engineer combining satellite imagery & post-photographic works.

NFTAgora

NFTAgora is a newly formed nonprofit group based out of Paris that seeks to connect the traditional and crypto art sectors with both IRL and digital meetups. They announced that 50% of the proceeds from their membership fees would be donated #TezQuakeAid.

If you're interested in learning more about the project, they have set up a virtual gallery in OnCyber that has a lot of the details available. We would like to thank them for contributing to the cause.

Burka on the Radio

Burka Bayram, one of the key organizers of #TezQuakeAid who we previously featured, made an appearance on a Turkish radio station and gave an interview about the #TezQuakeAid efforts as part of a larger series from the Istanbul Blockchain Women group.

Wrapping Up

That wraps up last week's activities surrounding #TezQuakeAid. We're still always looking for more people to cover, so don't forget to use our form and recommend us artists to highlight. If you have any other feedback, you can always reach us on Discord and Twitter.
