How to Get Your Art & Music Featured on DNS.xyz

Have you ever been curious at how we go about selecting items to showcase on the homepage? Perhaps you've wanted to submit some of your own work to be considered, but weren't sure how? You've come to the right place.

The Homepage

One of the things we do at DNS is make sure there's a steady stream of new works being displayed on our homepage. We share our fresh additions in a daily art thread, curated by @TocoDeco, and a companion thread focused on music NFTs that is curated by @basesmusic.

There's a huge amount of content out there and it's impossible to see everything, but if you follow these suggestions there's a good chance that we'll be able to see the works you want us to consider for the homepage.

Ping @dns via Twitter ๐Ÿฆ

The most straightforward way is to simply construct a tweet and let us know on Twitter. Tag @dns in a tweet of your own (replies have a higher chance of getting missed, and get used for spamming more often) with a link to the NFT. If you really want to get our attention, send us a link to the item on DNS.xyz itself. We love that.

This is an example of a good tweet.

If you've got some music NFTs to recommend, the best way to grab our attention is to tag @basesmusic, who is our music curator at DNS. He listens to virtually everything he comes across and is a talented creator himself. If you've got some quality tunes to share with us, by all means let Bases and @klickdotdev know.

Are you an artist that creates beautiful work? TocoDeco is the curator you should tag and let know. Bases handles the music, Toco handles the artwork, and she's got a fantastic eye for it. She's dedicated to her craft and really likes to place an emphasis on showcasing lesser known artists in the space.

Don't hesitate to tag Toco or Klick if you've got some compelling work. If it's good, if we like it, then that's about the only criteria we need to satisfy to use it.

The Discord ๐Ÿ“ฃ

๐Ÿ”—: https://discord.gg/dnsxyz

The best and most straightforward way to let us know you have artwork you'd like us to consider is our Discord server. We have a channel for specifically sharing your artwork into. A link to your item and a polite little message can be all it takes to get added to the front page rotation.

Just post your work in the #shill-your-art channel, we'll see it.

This is an often overlooked route when users attempt to share things with us. It's a resource for you, and a resource for us as a curatorial team.

Wrap Up

In closing, we'd just like to say that the curation process isn't a rigid or exact science. We like showcasing great artists, and so that's what we're setting out to do. Don't be afraid to reach out to us, we are always on the lookout for more exciting content to share!
